I was quite pleased that Hufflepuff won yesterday. I suppose that's partly because I have spent many, many hours of the past seven years loathing Gryffindors, while Hufflepuff was more of a mild irritation, but I also felt that they played a somewhat better game.
Hogwarts is still appalling. It is quite frustrating to repeat lessons that I've already done - it's not as though they were overly difficult the first time around. I wish I could've just come back for exams next summer instead of having to live in this infernal castle for another year. It's still unacceptably cold! But at least I no longer have to live beneath a vast expanse of lake. I'm not sure why they ever thought that not allowing a quarter of the school to see daylight from their bedroom windows was a good idea. I suppose that having people I've barely spoken to bumbling around my common room is an acceptable price to pay for that.
I should definitely have gone to Durmstrang.
